Shady Oak Barrel House will be selling our newest release on their webshop. Customers will have the opportunity to purchase up to 6 bottles. Pickup orders will be ready at Shady Oak the next business day during regular hours.
There will be a limited number of shipping boxes available for an additional fee. Each box holds up to 6 bottles and can be shipped anywhere in California. Shipped orders will be filled asap… please allow some time for us to order boxes, pack them, and get them out to GSO.

Name: Old Friend
Description: The culmination of multiple years of work. As much as we love our fruited beers, it has always been barrel aged saison style beers and gueuze blends that have inspired us most. The expression of microbes on a simple recipe of water, malt, and hops with a gentle oak character is, for us, the perfect beer. We layered complex flavors to create a delicate balance of acidity, hop bitterness, and tannins. This creates a flavor and aroma that no one barrel can achieve. A blend of four neutral oak barrels that previously held red wine containing mixed culture saison and one neutral oak barrel that previously held red wine containing a lambic style recipe fermented 100% with brettanomyces. These barrels aged for 2+ years before being blended and bottled. This beer can be drank now or aged further. Naturally conditioned, clarified, and carbonated in the bottle over several months. Unpasteurized and unfiltered. Contains natural sediment. Store in a dark and cool space.

PURCHASE INFO
Limit 6 bottles per person. Any evidence of a customer attempting to purchase more than 6 bottles will result in their order being cancelled and refunded.
All current AltBrau beers are brewed, bottled, and sold by Shady Oak Barrel House. Orders must be placed through their online shop.
Future beers may be produced and sold by other breweries. A link will be provided to their webshop when these are on sale.

Customers have 30 days to pickup their order.
Bottles not picked up within 30 days will be released without refund.

“AltBrau Shipping Box” will be available in the webshop for $20. Includes box and shipping fee.
Four slot and six slot boxes available. The price is the same. (UPDATE: SHIPPING BOXES SOLD OUT)
This box is NOT THE SAME as Shady Oak’s standard $25 shipping fee for sets. This fee should be disabled but be sure to not apply this shipping during check out. This box will only ship by adding “AltBrau Shipping Box” in your cart.
Add shipping box and bottled in your shopping cart BEFORE checkout. Choose shipping instead of pickup and fill in your information.

PROXIES
We will allow individuals to pickup/have shipped multiples of packages if they have been assigned as another person’s proxy. Per-person limits still apply.
A person may proxy for up to TWO other individuals.
Each order must have a unique name, credit card number, and email address associated with it.

A: Email us to set up a proxy and have a friend pick them up for you. If we have any shipping boxes left we will work with you to help.
